First time in Durban! I must say it felt like I was back in Dar-Es-Salaam. A much more developed Dar. I was granted the honor of shooting the Zakifo Festival. The artists were phenomenal. I witnessed a 71-year old man do a 180-split & I missed the shot because I was appalled! Anyway, here are a few shots from the event.

Soundset’s ninth edition, held Sunday at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds instead of the usual Canterbury Park, was yet again a bustling, diverse, and unique success.

This was my first ever festival & it sure was a blast. These are some of the amazing faces from that day.
